NEWS FROM THE FEMINIST CAUCUS
By Anne Burke, Chair. More on the Eco Poetry Panel. Plan to join us on Friday, 12 June, 2009, at SFU Harbour Centre, Segal Centre, 1:45-3:15 p.m. Then plan for next year at the Business Meeting/Open Reading, 5-6 p.m.
Magie Dominic, who suggested the topic, says, “I wrote poems about the earth, the damaged sky, our little globe from all perspectives. The poems were set to music, sung and all recorded. The process was unique. The meeting of artistic minds, all strangers, all affected by the state of the earth and wanting to do something and the technology involved to make it happen.” For full report click here.
