
Jenna Butler was born in Norwich, England in 1980. She is an educator, book reviewer and poet who currently makes her home in Edmonton, Alberta. Her work has been widely published in literary magazines and journals, and she has edited over twenty-five collections of poetry in Canada and England. Selected anthology credits include Otherwheres (Pen & Inc. Press), String to Bow (Leaf Press), The Moosehead Anthology X: Future Welcome (DC Books) and Writing the Land: Alberta Through Its Poets (House of Blue Skies). She is currently working toward a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of East Anglia, UK. Butler is the author of three short collections, Forcing Bloom, Winter Ballast, and Weather. A full-length collection, Aphelion, is forthcoming from NeWest Press. Butler is the founding editor of the international chapbook publisher Rubicon Press.
